VIVIENNE WESTWOOD & JEWELLERY - THAMES AND HUDSON BOOK
Creative direction, product development, and planning for the first Vivienne Westwood Jewellery Book in collaboration with Thames & Hudson. This included developing the core concept for the ten-chapter structure, curating the jewellery selection for each section, and shaping narrative, visual flow, and organisation of the publication.
Collaborated closely with photographer Philippe Lacombe—planning the visual direction, attending and directing on set, and working alongside the photographic and styling teams to refine composition and the overall visual language. Responsibilities included sourcing props and materials, designing image layouts, and ensuring each image communicated the identity of Vivienne Westwood jewellery.
To achieve a cohesive visual story, I oversaw the remaking and refinement of selected jewellery pieces specifically for the book.
Managed image selection, editing notes, curated supporting visuals and the sequencing of content, shaping the final layout to create a cohesive and elevated publication aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and heritage.
The Vivienne Westwood Jewellery Book was a key project that helped elevate the jewellery collections both creatively and commercially. The book generated significant industry and press attention, increased global visibility and strengthened the jewellery line as an important part of the brand. Its release led to higher engagement from buyers, press, and collectors, supported stronger retail performance, and reinforced the value, collectability, and cultural relevance of the pieces. Overall, the book brought decades of design together into a clear, cohesive story that elevated perception, broadened reach, and delivered measurable long-term impact for the brand and its jewellery collections.
